Equine MLD - what is it and

what can it be used for?

MLD stands for Manual Lymph Drainage. This can be used not only on humans, but also very effectively for a range of disorders in horses, including lymphoedema. The importance of the lymphatic system in horses has largely gone unnoticed until quite recently. However, new research has highlighted the importance of the lymphatic system for your horse, and how MLD can greatly reduce swelling (see photos) and also bring fantastic pain relief for your horse. Your horse’s mobility can be improved beyond your expectations and with just a few treatments you will have a much happier, healthier animal.
