After working alongside Equine MLD during the treatment and ongoing management of two recent cases of lymphangitis and lymphoedema, it is clear that the compression techniques employed by Equine MLD, when used in conjunction with appropriate veterinary treatment as well as supportive care given by the owners of the horses, led to a more rapid resolution of limb swelling than could otherwise have been expected. Dear Tammy, I just wanted to write you a quick note to tell you how I am pleased with your treatment, it’s helped Hozzie so much, weve always believed in you. Hozzie had a long period after his previous bout of lymphangitus where the swelling wouldn't reduce anymore, the vets even thought it wouldn't return to normal. Your treatment defied this, and after a few treatments his leg went back to normal after a couple of yesrs being swollen. Amazing, fast results... For months we have struggled with the fluid build up in our mare’s leg after an acute case of lymphangitis. We have tried countless things until we came across equine MLD. Tammy came out to see Amber for two consecutive days to treat her; throughout the treatment Tammy ensured Amber was comfortable and relaxed. Within 24 hours of treatment the results were amazing, the swelling in her leg had decreased to more than half the size it was. Everything was explained very well and I felt comfortable in carrying on with the bandaging myself. Tammy has been very supportive, any problems she is only a phone call away.
